Free Online Will Preparation Services Available

June 24, 2009

(CHICAGO) – June 24, 2009 – Fort Dearborn Life (FDL) now offers a free online will preparation service to employees of new group life insurance customers through its partnership with ComPsych. The online program is available as a standard feature for new employer groups with 500 or more employees and is available as an option for employer groups of all sizes.

“A will fills a void that exists in the lives of most Americans,” said Tony Trani, president and CEO of FDL. “The fact is that most Americans do not have a will, and without one, the courts decide how your estate is distributed and who will be the guardian of your children. Online will preparation gives you control over how your property should be distributed and who should care for your children.”

The online will service is provided by ComPsych, the world’s largest provider of Employee Assistance Programs, behavioral health, work-life, wellness and crisis intervention services.

Online will preparation features a user-friendly three-step online process with access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing users to complete the process at their convenience and in the comfort of their own homes. The process is safe and confidential, using Verisign, a secure encryption technology.
