Anthony F. Trani
President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO, Anthony F. Trani oversees all of the Dearborn National® brand companies.
Mr. Trani joined Dearborn National in 2008. He started his career with MetLife in 1970 and held various senior positions, including Chief Marketing Officer of Institutional Business, and served as head of Group Life Operations from 2003 to 2006 and as President and Chief Executive Officer of MetLife’s subsidiary Paragon Life from 2000 to 2006. He was also a Director of Hyatt Legal Plans, Inc., a MetLife subsidiary, and served as an Independent Director of Anthem Life and Disability Company of New York. He founded A.F. Trani Consulting, an employee benefits consulting practice, where he served as President and CEO through 2008.
Mr. Trani holds a degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Bernard M. Baruch College of Business. He also completed the University of Michigan’s Executive Marketing Program.
