Essential Job Functions:
- This position evaluates RFP’s request for proposals and inforce business for renewal.
- Assists in developing and setting rates, including administration and commission levels.
- Analyzes in-force and prospective accounts for profitability.
- Prepares experience accounting and other financial statements/reports.
- Assists in responses to bid specifications in a manner consistent with corporate policies and objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a college degree preferably in mathematics and/or business, or possess a minimum of two 2 years experience in a group underwriting environment.
- Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Have well developed interpersonal skills.
- Have effective organizational skills including the ability to organize and manage quote and renewal deadlines.
- Possess a positive, service-oriented attitude.
- Proficiency in basic PC programs, preferably Word, Excel, Access, and Lotus Notes.
